BEECHWOOD
LAKE NORMAN, NORTH CAROLINA
TYPE
SINGLE FAMILY
The BeechWood Residence in Lake Norman, North Carolina, is a Refined Interpretation of Modern Craftsman Architecture Designed to Complement its Tranquil Lakeside Setting. The Exterior Features Tiered, Asymmetrical Massing that Responds to the Natural Slope of the Terrain, Anchored by Substantial Fieldstone Masonry Wainscoting that Grounds the Structure Visually. This Rugged Stone Base is Balanced by Cool-Toned Horizontal Lap Siding and Crisp White Columns, Creating a Clean yet Welcoming Architectural Expression.
A Complex, Multi-Hipped Roofline with Deep Overhangs Reinforces the Home’s Low, Grounded Profile, while Large, Rhythmically Arranged Windows and a Walk-Out Lower Level Strengthen the Connection to the Surrounding Landscape. The Design Transitions from a Formal Stone-Stepped Entry to Comfortable Rear Outdoor Living Spaces, where Timber-Supported Porticos and Sheltered Patios Create a Seamless Indoor–Outdoor Relationship Suited to the North Carolina Climate.
Initial Design was Done by an Architect in the USA. Free Flow Studios took the Initial Design and Submitted a Full Permit Set, by Checking all Codes. Further, We took this Design and Create a 3D Model with Renderings to Better Visualize the Single Family Residence.
